Online Therapy

Online Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy Online, Across the UK and Internationally

Online therapy offers the same depth and consistency as meeting in person, from a private space of your own. I see individuals, couples and supervisees by video call on Microsoft Teams, wherever you are.

My approach is psychodynamic and relational, drawing on an integrative range of ideas. The aim is not only to ease what troubles you, but to understand it: the patterns and feelings beneath the surface that shape how you live and relate to others.

Who It Suits

Is Online Therapy Right for You?

Online sessions can work well if you:

  • Live too far from Putney to attend in person
  • Have a demanding schedule or travel often for work
  • Live abroad and would like therapy in English with a UK-registered therapist
  • Find it easier to talk from your own surroundings
  • Are caring for children or others and cannot easily get away

Some people prefer to start in person and move online later, or to combine the two.

How It Works

What to Expect

Sessions last 50 minutes and take place at the same time each week, just as they would in the room. You will need a private, quiet space where you won’t be overheard or interrupted, a reliable internet connection, and a laptop, tablet or phone with a camera. Teams runs in a web browser or through its free app.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Sessions take place on Microsoft Teams, which is secure and encrypted. I send you a link before each session, so there is no need for an account. If the connection drops, simply rejoin using the same link; we agree at the start what to do if it can’t be restored. I always work from a private, confidential space. What you share is held in confidence, in line with my professional bodies’ ethical frameworks.

The same depth of work, wherever you are.
